Pre-Fabricated Steel Tower Put on Hold In China

Pre-Fabricated Steel Tower Put on Hold In China

Well, Well, Well, looks like what was to be the world's tallest tower has been put on hold by city regulators in Shangasha, whom are concerned about the prefab building, and also concerned about the traffic it will bring to the area. I actually wrote about this some time ago at Torontoskyscraper / Blogspot.ca and compared the impact of being able to build a tower so fast (90 Days) and the concerns which were sure to abound, regarding safety. I didn't think at that time to consider congestion. However, the prefab peices of the tower are sitting in a factory waiting to be assembled and the land has been purchased for 62 million dollars...

The first storey that I wrote concerning this tower....
