15 Central Park West is known for its famous residents—including actor Denzel Washington and Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein—and its very high prices. The latest big deals: A 5,610-square-foot duplex in the building is hitting the market for $62.5 million, while stock-car racing driver Jeff Gordon closed on the sale of his 3,454-square-foot, three-bedroom apartment for $25 million.
The seller of the duplex is the Ullman Family Partnership, which was linked to Richard Ullman. Mr. Ullman, who died two years ago, was a pharmaceutical executive who founded a prescription benefit company called National Prescription Administrators, which he sold in 2002 to Express Scripts as part of a nearly half-billion dollar deal.
