Great Eagle Group, owner of Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, Canada, will assume management of the 1,590-room property under its subsidiary Langham Hospitality Group
Delta Hotel Sells Management Licence for Yonge and Gerrard Location
Delta Hotels and Resorts is selling it's location at Yonge and Gerrard, as it prepares to move into it's new digs down in Southcore. The Delta Chelesa Hotel, is the largest Hotel in Toronto, and the largest Hotel in Canada. The current owners of the Delta Chelsea, are Hong Kong Based Great Eagle, and say they will rename the hotel as "The Chelsea Toronto" and they have also stated the hotel has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, however not up to the standards of Delta Hotels and Resorts.
Great Eagle Group, owner of Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, Canada, will assume management of the 1,590-room property under its subsidiary Langham Hospitality Group. This property will be the first Langham Hotel ever in Canada. We are looking forward to seeing what they can offer and bring to the Toronto Marketplace.
Delta's new building in Southcore, at the corner of Simcoe and Bremner should be able to take on new guest by late 2014. And this hotel will be rated at a minimum of 4 stars, as
