Union Station Renovation - March 2013 Update

In this photo you can see the new Subway Concourse at Union Station along with the renovated Moat, which should in theory relieve some of the pressure at Union Station . . The Union Station Renovation will bring capacity of Union Station up from about 350,000 people per day to almost 1 million people per day. So in laymans terms this is a massive renovation. They are currently opening up Front Street to get access to the system tunnels, once complete, you'll be able to walk from the Harbourfront LRT Station right to the subway platform all at the same underground level.

The latest development from Toronto which is a city on the verge of bursting as the following list of projects can attest. There are some 150 buildings in Toronto Currently Under-Construction. Then there are also Hundreds of new project proposals in the works. This project is the latest and just one of many on the go. There has been talk in some quarters of a condo bubble that may be bursting, however, those fears however well founded have proved not to be true.
