Site Prep Continues at Harbour Plaza
Work is continuing at the massive Harbour Plaza Development by Menkes, and Oxford. This property will also contain the office development known as One York (1 York) When I was last at the site there were shoring rigs, and excavators there digging away. Although the nature of the work is pretty clear cut, the end result is a bit murky, I've been in a few debates with people as to whether this project is actually under construction, or if the parking deck alone is being built, or all three skyscrapers are under construction.
For any of these buildings to be completed, the shoring, excavation, and foundation work, including parking decks needs to be done first, and this process alone could take up to two years, regardless, of whether or not the building has secured tenants or sales on the condos. These towers are under construction in my book.
