Backstage Tower recently began construction across the way from the L Tower Mega development at the corner of Esplanade and Front Street. This tower is unique in that it will have to share it's parking with residents of the L Tower. There was/and is a tunnel being built to connect the two developments underground, so that residents of L Tower can walk sheltered to Backstage Tower to get to their cars, in the parking spaces allotted there.
- Backstage Condos are located in the heart of the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood, with easy access to the Financial District, Union Station, TTC Transit and shopping and dining on Bay and Yonge Street.
- The project is being developed by Cityzen Development Group, along wth Castlepoint Realty and Fernbrook Homes. This is the same development Team behind the L Tower which is under development across the street.
Toronto's Development Keys to Success
Toronto has experienced a rapid growth of it's downtown core, as residents seeking more recreational time and less communting time, are cutting out the travel from their work days. This has lead to an explosion of residential development, and highrise/skyscraper development in the downtown core. Buildings like ICE Condos and L Tower, will define the skyline for the next generation. And we await new mega projects, such as those at 10 York, 90 Harbour, King Street and Front Street.
