Well, yesterday was a world wind of posts, so today, I'm going to take it easy and post some pictures of my walk abouts in the Yorkville Area of Toronto.
Yorkville, is a high end shopping and residential area north center of downtown Toronto. It's home to the most expensive shopping streets in Canada, (if not the world), Bloor Street, where all the big name ultra luxury retailers set up shop, like Cartier, Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, and Burberry make their home.
This first photo is from Charles Street a block south of Bloor
Further east along Charles we come to 1 St. Thomas - The ultra high end Luxury Condo Building
This building was designed by Robert AM Stern and the architect for the project was Young and Wright. It stands at the corner of Charles and St. Thomas and is 29 Floors High. I've heard that Drake has a unit here, and I saw him last month in the neigbhourhood to the north, so I guess their might be some truth to that rumour.

The building itself is inspired to some extent by the design of the towers constructed in New York City during the 1920's and 1930's. And it has become a fan favorite of the local urban and architecture community in Toronto. Seems like a first class building, inside and out.
Getting a Mortgage and Mortgage Insurance through BMO Insurance for financing a loan to purchase at FIVE Condos is actually a relatively easy process, and new rules from the federal government has required that company include new regulations, which have made the home loan and mortgage process a bit more difficult. Those changes at BMO Insurance include shortening the amortization period for which the loan can be held by the consumer, and the degree to which the property is financed by the mortgage. They have also increased deposit requirements to lift the loan insurance amount. Mortgage insurance from BMO Insurance is actually one of the major financing costs on home loans.
