British Columbia or BC as it is commonly known, had by far the highest weight of mortgage debt but it's also by far has the highest rate of personal debt in Canada that includes credit card debt as well as line of credit.
This is backed up by the fact that BC is the only province in Canada with a negative savings rate and this has been negative for every year in this millennium from years 2000 to the year 2014 so this has become part of the halftime in the west coast of Canada.
