New Rendering for the Tridel Tower at 10 York. The Design of the Tower looks very similar to previous Renderings However, there seems to be less Spandrel Material implied in the design. This tower which will reach some 68 floors, and be the second or third tallest tower in Southcore, which is the southern part of downtown, south of the railway tracks and Union Station. The project is located, at Lakeshore, Harbour, and York Street. So it's right in the middle of downtown between the financial core, and Harbourfront. There has been some concern regarding, the use of Spandrel, however overall the tower is clean and respects the lot on which it sets, with its form. It takes a triangular form.
Other Projects in the Area of the Ten York Project Include Maple Leaf Square towers which are connnected to the Air Canada Centre, and Telus House. On the other side of York there is the PWC Tower, and ICE Condo Projects, along with the Delta Hotel.
