CIBC Forcast Has Toronto on Top

The Toronto Economy is growing fast, on the strength of the Condo Market which has been seeing sales slipping, is still buoying Toronto economic activity. It is estimated that some 300,000 jobs in Toronto rely on the construction industry in some shape and form. And the growth of that sector has pushed Toronto to the top of the pact in Canada, outdoing the super oil producing regions of Calgary, Edmonton, Regina. So although we don't have oil here, we make Condos and Cars and hence have taken the leading economic role for the Nation.

The CIBC Review involved looking at 25 Major cities across Canada. And noted that the Condo boom, and the Auto Sector pushed Toronto past Calgary, Vancouver and other Western Oil Producing Cities for top spot in the nation. Toronto has been on the top of the list for 2 years straight, and we did it without having a drop of oil!
