Here is a listing of the most anticipated Skyscraper Groundbreakings that will happen in Toronto for the 2013 year. Not all of the towers on this list are the tallest skyscrapers, but certainly some of them are very interesting. I think without doubt the most exciting skyscraper groundbreaking that will take place for 2013 is the Massey Tower on Yonge Street, due to it's design elements, and it's work to restore the old Bank Buildings. This project developed by MOD Developments, is almost a guaranteed go, as the last sales figures had it at over 85% sold. The next most highly awaited tower to begin construction will be Ten York, which is had some stellar sales figures early this month. This should begin work sometime in 2013 however, unsure as to when all the City permits required for construction will be granted. Toronto is still booming, and while there is some fear things are slowing down, I don't forsee the dreaded crash that many have been talking about for what seems like over 5 years.
