Wyndham Worldwide , one of the world's largest hospitality companies, received The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award from the Building Owners and Managers Associations of New Jersey for its corporate headquarters campus in Parsippany, N.J.

Wyndham Worldwide , one of the world's largest hospitality companies, received The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award from the Building Owners and Managers Associations of New Jersey for its corporate headquarters campus in Parsippany, N.J.
The TOBY Award honors outstanding office buildings for excellence in building management, operational efficiency, emergency planning, tenant relations and community impact. Wyndham Worldwide's campus was honored for its achievements in the Corporate Facility category, and also took home the Grand Building of the Year Award for earning top honors among all winners. This is the first time the Company received the awards.


"A tremendous amount of thoughtful planning goes into the operation of our headquarters building. We consider everything when it comes to associate productivity," said Frank Campana, senior vice president, corporate real estate and facilities, Wyndham Worldwide. "This latest achievement and success of our management operation is rooted in the team approach, and is accomplished through hard work, collaboration and passion."
The headquarters building, which is a single-tenant, premier office building, is the first and only building in New Jersey to earn double LEED designations for both Corporate Interiors and Existing Building -- Operations and Maintenance. Throughout the entire design and construction phase, Wyndham Worldwide incorporated specific strategies and features that resulted in significant energy savings, including a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 1,667 tons. Additionally, all of the Company's energy usage is tracked through the EPA's ENERGY STAR online tool and its current ENERGY STAR rating is 90 out of 100, making Wyndham Worldwide's corporate offices among the top 10 percent of the most efficient buildings in the nation.
To further reduce its carbon footprint, the Company provides premier parking spots for employees who carpool and drive hybrid vehicles and offers mass transit options, including a free shuttle to/from the local train station.
Additional on-site amenities include:
  • a no-cost fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and exercise classes;
  • a full service cafeteria and Starbucks Barista;
  • a nurse practitioner and prescription delivery service and associate health and wellness programs;
  • a convenience store with sundries, gift items and snacks;
  • a ShopRite From Home delivery program;
  • an eco-friendly dry cleaning services;
  • a shoe shine and repair, and;
  • an eco-friendly car wash/detail service.
