A shot of some classic and iconic towers from Queen Street West. The Cadillac Fairview tower and the Simpson Tower. A lot of people usually get there first impression of these towers from almost infinite amount of postcards which feature their likeness.
Cadillac Fairview is the subsidiary of the Ontario Teachers Pension Fund, one of the world's largest. CF is also one of the largest developers of office real estate in the city of Toronto.
Simpsons is a now defunct retail chain that along with the Bay and Eaton's use to dominate the shopping scene in Toronto and Canada. Merged with the Hudson's Bay in the late 80's and early 90's.

Speculation Begins Regarding the 16 York Office Development in Southcore
Cadillac Fairview's 16 York project has been sitting quietly on the backburner for some time now, but when the ICE Condo towers begin to near completion there is word and speculation that Cadillac Fairview may be forced to play it's hand and begin construction on this office project which would site at the corner of Bremner Blvd, and York St.

The Building has been designed with distinctive wrap around glass lobby, which will rise more than 40 feet, creating one of the most dramatic lobby entrances in the city. In addition the building will also have a unique offset at 22 floors which will in effect create a startling silhouettte on the Southcore Skyline.
