Another shot from my cellphone of 55 Charles Street. One of the most luxurious apartment rental towers in all of Canada. It is located at the southern end of the glitzy Yorkville District and until last year (2011) it was the tallest building in Yorkville. Now that the Four Seasons Hotel has been completed it has lost this title.
The building itself is 166 meters tall and connects to the Yorkville underground shopping network. (similar to the PATH) where fine shopping at the Holt Renfrew and Manulife await you. If you must shop outside the Bloor Street mink mile beacons.
