Bay Adelaide Construction and Demolition Update from Yonge

Here is a construction and demolition video, I took from the corner of Yonge and Adelaide as work continued on the new office tower which will compliment the existing Bay Adelaide West Tower. When complete the East Tower, will rise, some 196 meters and be 43 floors tall. It is being developed by Brookfield Properties which is based out of Toronto and has other major projects currently underway in both Calgary and New York City.

The existing Historic Buildings that were on the site of the Bay Adelaide East tower have been or are in the process of being destroyed, and you can see in the video I posted below that the demolition looked very close to knocking pieces of building over and right onto traffic on Yonge Street. Very fascinating stuff, don't see this kind of close demolition everyday, even in Toronto.
