Toronto Skyline View Seen From Chinatown

Toronto Skyline View Seen From Chinatown

From over the weekend, you can see the Toronto Skyline View from Chinatown. The picture was taken just ouside the Kensington Market Area, of the city. Looking south to the LCBO store you can see under construction, Cinema Condos, and 300 Front, along with the recently completed Charlie Condos.

Charlie Condos - Toronto Entertainment District

As I mentioned in my previous blog posting earlier today, the Entertainment District in Toronto is undergoing a massive change, as the once loud and rough nightclubs are being bulldozed into the ground to make room for an ever growing assortment of condo dwellings. One spot, on the edge of the old entertainment district, and right smack dab in the middle of the Entertainment District today in it's current state as it lines down King Street West to Bathurst, is Charlie Condos.

This condo project was designed by Diamond and Schmidtt and is being developed by Great Gulf Homes, one of the largest and most well respected developers in the City of Toronto, probably will be best known as the developers of One Bloor West, the largest and most prestigous condo tower ever built in Toronto (with the execption of Aura?). The tower was so successful at launch that the decision was made to add a few more floors, of which there was no shortage of buyers. The end result is 36 floors of classic and modern design soaring into the sky.
