Airlines Wants to Fly Jets From Toronto Island Airport

Well, the plans revealed by
Porter Airlines today to fly Jets out of Toronto’s Island Airport will
certainly cause a stink with community groups that don’t want an airport of any
kind at the Toronto Islands. Now Porter Airlines wants to fly jets out of the
space with new jets provided by Bombardier. The new jets called the C100 Series
will allow flights from Toronto to farther destinations like Miami and
Vancouver, and will require 2.5 billion dollars worth of renovations at the
Toronto Island Airport, also known as Billy Bishop Airport.
