New Development Planned for the East Side of Toronto Downtown A Massive new development is planned for the eastern side of the downtown Toronto core, just south of the Distillery District and the east of St. Lawrence Market. It will be located in the Don Lands, and include a park and surprisingly a skyscraper tower (condo) which I didn't know was planned for the area. If you look at the rendering you can see there is a massive tower which will be built by Cityzen Developments which is currently working on the L Tower as well as the Pier 27 development on Yonge Street. These projects are defining the way people will live in the downtown Toronto core, not only for right now, but also into the future.
