Another Shot this time of 150 Bloor Street West, the Renaissance Plaza Toronto, that unique skyscraper that angles around that Anglican Church of the Redeemer at the corner of Bloor and Avenue Road. This building is perhaps best known for its shape, but the owner/manager Kervic Properties would rather have you know that this building is home to the worlds most super high end luxury retailers like Burberry and Louis Vuitton. It is also a condominium building as well.
The Louis Vuitton is new to the block, they had an older store a few blocks east but seems they were making so much money and had so much foot traffic they needed a bigger store. In fact this store is 4 times the size of their old location. The old location for Louis Vuitton was about 6,000 square feet, the new location at 150 Bloor is about 20,000 square feet.
The retailing in this complex is not just limited to Bloor Street, HSBC has an exclusive private wealth management branch facing Cumberland and Avenue Road and other shops occupy the path leading from Bloor to Yorkville Village.
