OLG Predicts $50 to $100 Million in Casino Hosting Fees For TorontoThe OLG has released an updated number on the amount of Money it could forsee being handed to local Toronto government in the event, they were to allow a Provincial Casino within the City limits. For a City the size of Toronto 100 million dollars might not be a lot when you consider the budget for the city is almost $10 billion dollars. However, the city is hosting in person consultations in March regarding the Casino proposal and this figure will provide a rough benchmark for how much we can expect back in terms of funding not only for the gaming infrastructure to support the casino, but other community needs throughout the city.
