A daytime view of Southcore Financial Centre. A business district with residential created almost overnight on the former rail lands, between the Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre (Skydome). Last week CIBC Revealed that it was the construction sector along with manufacturing that pushed Toronto to the forefront of economic development in Canada. A large share of the Toronto construction industry is being driven by huge amounts of condo sales, along with high demand for office towers in the Financial core, close to transit and residents companies would like to hire.
