Aura Condo Makes it's Mark on Yonge Street

Aura Condo Makes it's Mark on Yonge

Aura is looking good on Yonge Street, and while not of the same calibre of development as we've seen with recent proposals at One Yonge, Oxford Place, and the Mirvish Gehry Projectcore Development on King West, it does mark the beginning of a change in direction for a run down section of Yonge Street. This area of Yonge is racked with homeless shelters and strip bars, so this Condo and it's retail heavy base will bring more development and more money, which hopefully will lead to more upscale surroundings in the immediate area. Right now, from the latest Aura Photos that I've posted you can see that the curtain wall glass top of the tower is beginning, and when complete the tower will top out at 78 floors, and be the tallest building north of Queen Street in the City of Toronto.
