As, I have mentioned in other blog postings on this site, Toronto is experiencing a massive highrise building boom, in addition, we are faced with challanges of aging infastructure and how many additional people can be housed in the downtown core. The only problem is there is no other enviromentally sustainable solution. If people live in the suburbs, they require cars to sustain themselves, in this way, by allocating the core as a walkable, bike friendly enviroment, we can encourage development that celebrates and urban vibrant core.
