Beautiful Day at Harbourfront Today

Beautiful Day at Harbourfront Today

Toronto's waterfront is on a path of revitalization, and Harbourfront Centre's lakefront has never looked better! That's the verdict of the thousands of visitors who stroll along the central waterfronts of York and John Quays at Harbourfront Centre's 10-acre site.

A revitalized water's edge now graces York Quay and John Quay with an expanded public promenade, a new and readily accessible boardwalk (15ft wide!) traversing the lakefront and two dynamic finger piers perpendicular to the boardwalk to accommodate tour boats without blocking a view of the water. John Quay improvements now provide a much more inviting access to the Nautical Centre and all the recreational activities available there. In addition, access to the public space just west of the Marine Police Unit has been greatly enhanced. Expansive new landscaping and trees make the lakefront a much greener, more inviting space than ever before.
