The 250 is the last office phase of the Eaton Centre to be built. It lies almost direct centre of the Mall between the Dundas Tower and Cadillac Fairview Tower. It was built in the early 90's when I was still in high school. I remember that the Eaton Centre had some external and internal hoarding during its construction but it was not very intrusive. If fact it was a pretty clean site considering they were building the tower over the mall and through the glass Galleria.
Word is, there is a 4th office tower planned for the Eaton Centre and that the foundations were laid the mall was built. More news on that down the road.
