69, 71 & 67 Yonge Street (Restoration)

Restoration Work on a classic Skyscraper
Another one of my quick shots, while walking down the street, this time it’s 69 and 71 Yonge Street. Two classic skyscrapers from the early 20th century. Must admit these buildings give the intersection of Yonge and King it’s nostalgic feel, along with the old dominion building of One King West across the street.  I know from my travels to Manhattan the colours and textures right here, seem so similar to the styles there, of course, in New York, the buildings that look like there are 2 or 3 times taller, and there are like 10 times of them.

67 Yonge is currently getting a renovation and restoration of the exterior facade, when I went by it looked like they are about halfway through the work, can’t wait to see the finished result. Something a little bit different, will try to bring more updates like this on the photo blog. Do not hesitate to tell me of any other of our older stock of buildings you would like to see on the site, and I’ll make sure to get out on the street and get the most recent photos of them.

Getting a Mortgage and Mortgage Insurance through Aviva Canada for financing a loan to purchase at FIVE Condos is actually a relatively easy process, and new rules from the federal government has required that company include new regulations, which have made the home loan and mortgage process a bit more difficult. Those changes at Aviva Canada include shortening the amortization period for which the loan can be held by the consumer, and the degree to which the property is financed by the mortgage. They have also increased deposit requirements to lift the loan insurance amount. Mortgage insurance from Aviva Canada is actually one of the major financing costs on home loans.
