Tiburon, Inc., a portfolio company of The Gores Group and the leading provider of public safety software solutions, today announced that Johns Hopkins University Campus Safety and Security successfully deployed Tiburon CAD and Tiburon Law RMS, Total Enforcement Edition including the functionality for Clery reporting.

Johns Hopkins University selected Tiburon CAD and Law RMS to replace its previous-generation systems with a solution that could provide the University with a single, fully integrated platform, allowing instant access of mission-critical data between CAD and RMS users. Seamless integration between CAD and RMS reduces data entry requirements and error rates from manual processes. Tiburon Law RMS also offers further increases in personnel productivity by allowing officers to work offline using Tiburon RMS in a mobile environment. In addition, the new Tiburon system will assist Johns Hopkins with their ever important needs for Clery Reporting.

Available through Tiburon's Public Safety as a Service (PSaaS) platform, Tiburon CAD and Law RMS speed strategic and tactical decision-making through access and accuracy of critical information, and provide complete, instantaneous situational awareness. Future software enhancements are also provided at no additional cost to the University. Tiburon and Johns Hopkins University Safety and Security implemented the feature-rich command and control and incident response platform in just under a few months from contract signature.

Protecting approximately 20,000 students and faculty, Johns Hopkins University Campus Safety and Security has 55 full-time and 4 part-time Special Police Officers commissioned by the State with full arrest powers on all University property throughout Maryland. Six call-takers/dispatchers support the Tiburon CAD system.

"We are grateful that Johns Hopkins University places their trust in Tiburon and our industry-proven Tiburon CAD and Law RMS solutions," said Cliff Micham, Tiburon's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. "Helping higher education clients protect their campus communities with innovative, yet, cost effective solutions that evolve with their needs, is our unwavering commitment."
