GreenStreet redo will begin soon
Renovation of GreenStreet, formerly known as Houston Pavilions, will begin at the end of August, said Jonathan Brinsden, CEO of project developer Midway.
The renovation of the three-block long downtown retail, office and entertainment center is expected to be finished by early March, he said.

The initial work will focus on the middle block's courtyard, he said.
Once all renovation is complete, storefronts along Dallas will be lined with outdoor patios and the courtyard in the middle block will be expanded to allow for events.

The center will have more landscaping, and each block will have a water feature.
None of the work will disrupt existing tenants, Brinsden said.
While he did not announce any new tenants for GreenStreet, Brinsden said he is "committed to bringing the right people to the project."
Current tenants include House of Blues, Forever 21 and McCormick & Schmick's.
