As more people move into the central core, and the towers get taller, and sellout faster, I was looking for a reason for the popularity of this particular neighbourhood. The main cause of course is transit, or I should say "Lack of Transit".
You see, we have had major inaction from your local, provincial, and federal government when it comes to transit in Toronto. Toronto will never get love from any level of government, we are huge, global and wealthy, everything that the rest of the country and even the province outside of Toronto hates.
We have to beg to get a nickel for transit, so what do we do, we have no choice we build bigger towers, and the rest of the province and the rest of the country goes nuts, saying how we are destroying our skyline, we are to densely packed, too much density in such a small space.
What the hell are we supposed to do, we have no choice, if you get scared by 100 storey towers, get ready for a shock, there will be bigger, much bigger towers coming down the pipe, if you force us into a city of very fit and sexy walkers, so be it. Another reason to hate Toronto.
