in Toronto Cool their heels, with slowdown in New Release Projects.
Toronto Condo Developers have
released only 9 new condo projects to date, a figure which is the lowest since
the 2008-2009 Financial Crisis and Recession. There are currently 189 Condo
projects on the go in Toronto right now, most than almost any city in the
Westernized world. And the supply of condos that will be hitting the market in
the next few years, will lead to a stabilization in prices from the heady boom
days of just a few years ago. Once those new units come on stream, and the
market has had a chance to catch it’s breath we may see more new projects when
the dust settles.
