There are many places around the world, that struggle with the cost of housing, and some countries struggle with the cost of rebuilding after natural disasters, earthquakes, and war. One solution is to employ the cost effective use of shipping, or steel containers used to transport goods via overseas. These containers have been converted in some pretty neat ways, and I’m thinking that they might make a interesting way to form new condo skyscraper and highrise buildings. Maybe to a certain height using steel frame might be cost effective and safe. There is a whole industry now sprouting up using steel containers for housing, and avant guard designs.
