Thunderbird Tower - Construction Underway

Thunderbird Tower - Construction Underway

Thunderbird Tower is part of a master-planned community in Central Etobicoke by the 427 Highway. The project is branded Valhalla Etobicoke. The first phase of the developments was the construction of the townhomes and condos on the site of the previous Valhalla Inn, Nordic themed hotel that was a previous 1980's hotspot. The property is begin built and developed by Edilcan Development Corp, the same company that brought us the Met Condos at Yonge and Carlton.  One Valhalla condo, the first condo tower to go up was designed by Page and Steele, Thunderbird Tower is the second two to go up, and is the taller of the two phases.  The Tower will rise 35 floors, and should set to host a range of young professionals, couples, and empty nesters looking for a place to relax.

Etobicoke has seen many developments lately, but mainly centred on the Humber Bay Shores. This property in Central Etobicoke is actually a good ways away from the lake, and closer to the heart of Mississauga City Centre than it is to downtown Toronto.
