This is Commerce Court

This is Commerce Court – King and Bay

Another minimalist masterpiece from Chinese architect  IM Pei, most famous for his design of the Bank of China Building in Hong Kong, is the Commerce Court Building which was completed in 1972. It sits at the corner of Bay and King, the headquarters of The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and next to TD Centre, Scotiaplaza and First Canadian Place. This is the defacto  Financial capital of Canada, akin to Wall Street in the United States.  The Canadian Imperial Bank is the 4th or 5th biggest bank in Canada depending on how you value a bank.

The tallest tower is actually just one piece of the complex, the North Complex was built in 1931, and it was built in the Art Deco style of the time.  When it was built Commerce Court was built it was the tallest building in Canada, and remained so until the completion of First Canadian Place. It stands 57 floors and reaches 240 meters high, in addition it has a 48 foot mast on the roof.

Getting a Mortgage and Mortgage Insurance through BMO Insurance for financing a loan to purchase at FIVE Condos is actually a relatively easy process, and new rules from the federal government has required that company include new regulations, which have made the home loan and mortgage process a bit more difficult. Those changes at BMO Insurance include shortening the amortization period for which the loan can be held by the consumer, and the degree to which the property is financed by the mortgage. They have also increased deposit requirements to lift the loan insurance amount. Mortgage insurance from BMO Insurance is actually one of the major financing costs on home loans.
