Bisha Hotel and Residences is one of the most exciting condo projects, happening in the Entertainment District of Toronto. Being developed by the man, whom built the Toronto Club District from scratch back in the 1980's when it was just warehouses and clothing distribution centres. The man is Charles Khabouth, whom started his first Toronto night club with a $30,000 dollar loan, and a dream of living the good life. Really it was in decline, my memory is not that great, cause I was in my late teens and had just started clubbing, in the area when Mr. Khabouth was putting together a wide ranging club empire that changed the area onwards into the early 90's and beyond.
Today, Charles is changing the Entertainment District again, this time just as the warehouses were giving the boot to make way for nightclubs, this time it is exclusive club lounges that are exercising the old rowdy big box nightclubs that once dominated the area. One by one Komatsus are being trucked in to knock over the old club district, and in their place condo hotels, with new living areas, and new ideas on living are being developed by the biggest names in the Toronto construction industry. For his project here at Bisha, Charles has teamed up with Lifetime Developments.
The building will site at the corner of King and Blue Jays way, across from the old Westinhouse Building, itself, to be touched by the wrecking ball, for the King Blue Condos project.
The interiors will be designed by Lenny Kravitz of Lenny Kravitz Design Inc. *(yes that Lenny Kravitz)
