Five Condos and Nicolas Residences from Yonge and Wellesley in Toronto

Latest construction update on Five Condos and Nicolas Residences in Toronto

Five Condos Under Construction

FIVE  Condos:

A new touch of style is coming to the downtown core, near Yonge and Bloor Streets,  with the arrival of FIVE Condos. The development, already underway, promises not to compromise the neighborhood’s deep history.  The modern 48-storey tower will blend new designs with existing architecture, helping to keep its heritage intact.

According to Urban Toronto, the condominium is the builders' first, by Five St. Joseph Developments Ltd., who were also joined creatively by Graywood Development Ltd., and MOD Developments. Hariri Pontarini Architects were sought to lead with the conceptual design.

Construction, set to began last spring, and is expected to revitalize and restore nearly half a block of historically significant buildings along Yonge, between Wellesley and St. Joseph: An important step when blending new with old.   Some of these preservations include a makeover of the Yonge Street frontage, complete with a cleaning of the original facades.  In turn, residents and passer’s by will still be able to take in the building’s old ‘Gothic’ feel, all while being close to many exciting city amenities.
