Market Wharf Condo in the St. Lawrence Market of Toronto

Market Wharf Condo - St. Lawrence Market

Market Wharf is located at the corner of the Esplanade and Jarvis in the St. Lawrence Market. The tower itself changed in appearance during review with the city, when residents of the neighbourhood (St. Lawrence Market, objected to it’s original height of close to 50 floors. When they, along with the city reached a comprise with the developer. The result was a 25 floor tower, with a substantially larger square footage floorplate. The buildings signature design is the waving and undulating balcony glass giving it a liquid or fluid appearance.

The building features wide ranging amenities including the Market Club, a two story pavilion along with a rooftop space. The ground level contains retail units the most prominent being the Shoppers Drug Market.
Here is a picture I took, while out and about in St. Lawrence Market today.

Here is a picture from Market Wharf from by the railtracks by Yonge Street. Looks like cladding has been applied, to the balconies. And the tower is almost at the finishing stages. Market Wharf is part of a larger redevelopment that is going on in the St. Lawrence Market.
