Longtime real estate business partners Mark Wolf and Spencer Rinker have joined together to form a new company -- American Housing Ventures, LLC (AHV). With offices in Austin, Texas and Newport Beach, Calif., AHV is a privately held and funded real estate development and investment management firm. Focused on developing and building sustainable communities that feature high-quality, energy-efficient, single-family homes, the company targets land in high-growth corridors with identifiable demand generators. AHV acquires land in various stages of approvals or completion, and manages the development process from start to finish, leveraging its relationships with local experts and affiliated construction teams. AHV will soon break ground on the company's first housing development, Legends at Onion Creek, with 287 homes located in one of South Austin's premier neighborhoods.

"Based on our team's extensive and proven track record in real estate investment, AHV is well positioned to capitalize on high growth markets such as Austin and bring distinctive neighborhoods and communities to fruition," said Mark Wolf, CEO of AHV. "Our premier for-sale communities will give residents the opportunity to fulfill the American dream of owning a beautiful, affordable, brand new, high-quality home in a desirable location."

Wolf and AHV partner Spencer Rinker hold a combined 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to starting AHV, Wolf co-founded the multifamily division of Greenlaw Partners where Rinker served as a principal. In addition, Wolf and Rinker co-founded Sicuro Realty Partners, LLC, a multifaceted capital provider for apartments. Together, their collective experience represents more than $7 billion in total capitalization of real estate property across multiple asset classes, with a primary focus on the multifamily housing side. Gene Kim, senior associate, and Anne Marie Willis, operations manager, also join the AHV team. Both Kim and Willis have worked previously with Wolf and Rinker.
